As I child, I believed in fairytales. I thought magic carpets were real, that glass slippers were wearable & wouldnt hurt my Achilles tendon, that the tooth fairy would exchange my extracted molar tooth with a few bucks & love lasts forever. These are notions promoted by the Disney channel with the "they lived happily ever after" line & it took me years to wake up from that fantasy world dream. As a young girl, I realized that Persian rugs no matter how valuable dont fly, that jelly shoes were our version of Cinderella's glass slippers & that the tooth fairy was some dentist's sick joke to all children of the yester years. & the Never ending love? No wonder all those fairy tales ended with those weddings. If it didnt, we would see Prince Charming divorcing Snow White for excessive vanity or Cinderella having an affair with the shoe shine boy.

Ultimately, dreams and fantasies aren't just meant to be the stuff of make-believe or imagination. They're there to push you to strive for them, pounding the simple idea into your head that if you really, really want something then you should go out and get it...no more, no less. The world doesn't wait around for the meek.
